Purple Mamba is about to go undercover as Nottingham’s most decadent underground swingeasy- a low-lit hideaway where the jazz is smooth, the bar is buzzing and the only thing strictly forbidden is behaving yourself. This is SwingHub’s Prohibition Party: a one-night-only escape into backroom glamour, stolen touches and slow-burn temptation behind a discreet door.

🎶 The soundtrack? Smoked-out swing, modern twists on 1920s classics and sultry edits that start in your chest and end with your body pressed up against somebody else’s.

🍸 The bar turns into your favourite kind of trouble- think “giggle-water” cocktails, dark corners, barstools made for thigh touches and a room full of people who definitely aren’t here for a quiet drink.

🃏 SwingHub signature games and icebreakers will be scattered throughout the club- flirty, cheeky and prohibition‑themed. Expect passwords, playful dares and swingeasy challenges designed to turn eye contact into invitations and “maybe later” into “let’s go now”.

This night is all about dangerous glamour, sharp silhouettes and that slow, confident walk that gets you followed into the next room.

Dress like you belong in the most notorious swingeasy in town- polished, seductive and ready to get away with something.

Think:

• 1920s and 30s-inspired looks – flapper tease, gangster chic, burlesque bombshell, Peaky-style dapper.
  

• Women: figure-hugging dresses, flapper minis, corsets, stockings, suspenders, opera gloves, feather headbands and heels that make your legs go on for days.

• Men: sharp suits, braces, waistcoats, crisp shirts, bow ties or undone ties, fedoras and polished shoes – charming outlaw, not office Christmas party.

Strictly no jeans, no trainers. This is a swingeasy, not a sports bar.

If you look like you could slip past the cops, vanish through a back door and spend the night making gloriously bad decisions with beautiful strangers, you’ve nailed it.
